A Grammy Celebration of Latin Music, a two-hour special “highlighting Latin music’s lasting impact and widespread influence in the United States,” is set to air Sunday, Dec. 28 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

A Latin Grammy Award is an award by The Latin Recording Academy to recognize outstanding achievement in the Latin music industry. The Latin Grammy honors works produced anywhere around the world that were recorded in either Spanish or Portuguese and is awarded in the United States.

From Latin jazz and mambo to salsa, Tejano, Chicano rock, Latin pop and reggaeton, LATIN MUSIC USA tells the story of the rise of new American music forged from powerful Latin roots, and reveals the often-overlooked influence of Latin music on jazz, hip hop, rhythm and blues, and rock 'n' roll on all of American culture.
